Darul Hidayah lil Banat is New Zealand’s first full time girls Dārul Ulūm striving to deliver pristine Higher Level Islamic Education for our daughters and sisters. It is situated in Epsom. The madrasah started with a handful of students and a few teachers in 2020.
Alimah course is a five-year, in-depth, intensive Alimah course through which Qur’aan (Tafseer, Tajweed, Translation), Hadeeth (Prophetic Traditions) ……..
This is a One Year Course and Prepares new comers for the first year of Aalimiyyah, Focusing on basic Islamic teachings and Recitation of the Qur’an.
This is a short course for sisters aged between 10-25. It covers Basic Aqaaid, Spirituality, Laws pertaining to females, Tajweed, Duaas and Hadith.
The Madrasah provides a good standard of living and takes care of basic needs of students like food, laundry etc.
Accommodation and meals are provided at the premises of the madrasah.Meals are provided three times a day as per the usual breakfast, lunch and dinner. Accommodation is usually shared by other students and every room comprising bathroom and toilet facility.
The Madrasah has a privately run tuck‐shop on the premises The tuck‐shop opens at lunch, after Asr and after Esha (night prayer).
The Madrasah offers a laundry service for the benefit of the students. All clothing should be tagged and clearly labelled with the name of the student in legible ink.
